21 Shots – Operation Chariot

Two years ago today, I had the honour of photographing my third wedding, that of a friend most dear to me.  Per personal tradition, I gave this one an operation code name: “Chariot” in reference to an audacious British Commando raid due to the logistical challenges I faced in photographing a wedding solo in Cancun, Mexico.   I have done five weddings in total to date—and presumably that is all I shall do as I declared the fifth one to be my “last”—but Chariot will always stand as the most technically successful one to pull off.  (That said, Operation Aubrey was the most artistically successful one, but more on that another time.)

Old men forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But he’ll remember, with advantages,
What feats he did that day.

Here are 21 shots from that day that rank as my own personal favourites.
