2020: A Dumpster Fire Odyssey

On the last day of this tumultuous year, my colleague Annamaria and I reflect on 2020. It started off grand with so much hope and promise . . . and then things went a bit arseways.

To end the year, we at 80 Proof Photos present a photographic retrospect to show how this year had went for some of us.

There were highs, and there were lows. Our spirits may have been bruised but never broken. We were given a shit deal, but we made the best of it and carried on as we could. There were moments where all I could utter was a sharp and tired, “Oh for fuck’s sake!” But we endured. So as we step into 2021 and a bright, brand new day, I can see a distant speck of light getting ever closer that we will have a return of hope and promise.
